About Us
Greater Wildwood Little League provides kids the opportunity to learn and have fun playing the great
game of baseball. The League serves over 200 children ages 4-16 who live in North Wildwood,
Wildwood and Wildwood Crest.
Our home fields are in Wildwood Crest and our Spring season begins in early April. We also have
summer, fall and winter leagues and programs.
In July, our all-star teams participate in the international Little League tournament. Our teams have
won district 16 championships in the past. Our league plays some inter-league with teams from Lower
Cape May, Middle Township and Dennis Township.
Founded in 1954, Greater Wildwood Little League has been around for 60 years. Some of our kids
have gone on to play at the college level. One of our most famous players is professional head
basketball coach of the Indiana Pacers, Frank Vogel.
The bulk of our income is from registration fees. Additional money comes from sponsors, grants and
fund-raising events.
All of our managers, coaches and league officials are volunteers.
